A report today about the congressional hearing into the lack of proper safety oversight by the FAA on the wire today:

It made me wonder if there is an organization for FAA inspectors and maintenance crew like the one pilots have where they can anonymously report safety concerns.

Has anyone on here experienced issues like the ones discussed in this article?

In the UK we have the CHIRP system (Confidential blah blah reporting Program) and the MOR scheme (Mandatory Reporting).

They are our direct link to the Authority to highlight concerns........ Can be abused a little by disgruntled LAE's with Chips on their shoulders and also ignored a bit by a toothless Authority but hey ho - it's mostly all we have:E
