G'day all ppruners,
I would like to seek some advice as to what my future plans should be. I am currently completing year 12, am 18, and have flying lessons which should take me to my first solo starting on sunday. After I have finished year 12 I think my next move would be to get a full-time job as well as do a bridging course to get my maths to the right level. During this time I am also planning on applying for the various cadetships in the following preference order: cathay/FTA, QF, REX. My questions are as follows:
1) Should I follow this path or should I go for a degree up at Griffith?
2) Does anybody have a list of qantas approved maths bridging courses?
3) Regarding the class 1, my eyesight is pretty bad -3.5 and 4.5 however they are both corrected to 100% wik glasses/contacts. Will my eyes let me down?
4) Any other piece of advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Speedbird,
I am in the same position as you mate and currently finishing off my PPL.
If you are still after the list of QF approved mathematics bridge courses PM me.

Theres more to piloting than jumping straight into a big shiny jet for the rest of your life.
There are more options than q cadets.
