QANTASLINK Direct Entry?

Just wondering if anyone knows if Qantaslink is still employing direct entry pilots?

I have heard that they are now only employing cadets, keeping them on the cadet bond and if anyone applies for direct entry even well above the minimums they are all being told they need to apply for the cadetship. Does anyone know if this is really the case?

I think someone is pulling your little finger - PPRuNe Search is your friend if you wish to apply for a non cadet flying position with any of the QantasLink companies.

Unless of course, you hold a PPL and are interested in a command position in Qantas, in which case you will need to wait a little while yet until the pilot shortage really bites! :}
