Sorry if this has been posted, this is a little request from the guys at D&G, and I decided to post it here of course!

Firstly, you want to upload the image to imageshack:
Go to http://www.imageshack.us

http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/7831/42834356ii6.jpg

Okay, Press Browse, to start with and select your file:

Next: If the picture is straight off a high quality camera, you want to resize it, so tick the checkbox and change the size to about 800x600 or 640x480 in the box next to it.
And press Host It!

Wait a bit, it's gotta upload the image.
Now:
When you get to this page, highlight and copy the Bottom URL. (the one I highlighted in the image (direct link). Ignore the rest:

Then go to the posting page on PPRuNe and press the Insert Image button, and copy the URL (from the previous step) into the alert box that comes up. Press Ok (Obvious?)

Now my image should just appear in the posting box when done correct:

And When I submit the post?! Oh Look! a Brand spankin' New image on the internet! (And on PPRuNe, arguably, 'the internet' according to some pilots)

Any Questions?!

Yes.

Is that your aeroplane?

Next time I'm in Oz, can I have a ride in it please?

PS. Nice job on the guide for idiots like me!

Nah it's not my plane, I am currently on my student pilots license, training up :P...
PM me when you come to Oz :ok:

It would have been quicker to just post a link to the sticky thread in History & Nostalgia.

well i believe this thread is slightly more detailed and step-by-step than the other one... :ok:
the other one gives heaps of choices, and can make things hard from a decision making point of view.
