Do all Airlines want you to complete an aptitude test before joining them????

Isn't by completing the ATPL's and completing the Cpl, IR/ME & Mcc enough to show you have what it takes????????

I can't think off hand of an airline that requires aptitude tests to be passed before joining them, I'm sure others will enlighten us if they exist.
What they will do though is put you through their own extensive (or not so extensive) selection process.

All airlines will have an interview, most have a simulator assessment and a smaller number use aptitude tests. BA and a few others use all three. In addition, some require you to take an advanced handling course (Jet2.com) or a JOC (BA), which you must pass before you can start the Type Rating. At least BA pays for the JOC and TR and doesn't charge you for the assessment and interview. It must cost them a small fortune, but they do know what they are getting by the end of it all.
