Am after advice on getting job, preferably on a jet in the Middle East. I have 7000 hrs, 3500 hrs turboprop but no jet time. Endorsed on Otters, Metro's and Jetstream 41's. Will pay for own 757/767 or A320 rating if I have to. Any advice on who to annoy over there would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

I really do not know anyone in the Gulf who will hire unless you are endorsed, with the exception of Emirates.
Alas I think you would need something a bit heavier then the types you have been flying to get a look in there, but could be wrong.
Save your money re 757/320 endorsement, no one will hire with just the bare type on the licence, unless they are a very cheap start up operation.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, best of luck, try the UK if you have right of abode, you will get a start there.

I agree with Faheel, The only decent airline in the ME is Emirates and is also the only one likely to give you a go.
Good luck,
Have a nice day.

Pretty hard, in fact, almost impossible to get in with any of the M.E. operators without a type-rating (unless you're a local).

What you can expect:

SAUDIA.......pay's crap, so are conditions http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif
EMIRATES.....excellent, IF you meet their requirements :)
GULF AIR......used to be good, then went downhill. Report received as of 23 Sept indicates still big problems with management's understanding of HOW to run an international airline.....oh well, what's new in this part of the world, particularly when "local" management (ha ha) becomes involved http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif
KUWAIT......next question http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif
QATAR AIRWAYS.....forget it....join your local circus instead...easier, and a hell of a lot less drama than you'll experience with the "breadmaker" and his bunch of clowns :)

Good luck!
