We are a company looking at purchasing a Turbine Mallard.
Can anyone help us obtain some info regarding the aircraft, or point us in the right direction.
We need to know the following and more....

1/ What is the restiction for use at sea...ie swell limit
2/ What is th gradient for entry and exit to land.
3/ What is the landing/take off distance necessary on water and on land. (we intend to use on dams aswell as on the coast)
4/ What are the running costs per hr and maintenance schedule.

Regards Mallard

Would suggest that you direct inquires to operators in Alaska....noticed a few there on a recent visit, but do not know the operators concerned. Nice looking aeroplanes indeed!

MALLARD INFO

You should check the Chalk's International Airline Site. At one time they were the largest operator of the G73T As former pilot they are great maschines when running properly plenty of power with pt6 may have problems on calm days with heavy load.

Would not recommend for Pacific North West.

Its better in the Bahamas

Half of the Mallards built have crashed.

Would suggest a Twin Otter on floats instead.
