Does anybody know if ATSB will investigate this accident.??
Looks like they were doing aeros as per eye witness accounts but what happened???

Eye witless accounts more likely.
Last I heard on media was that they believed the hit a large bird - possibly an albatross which entered the cockpit area.

the aircraft assessor has looked at the wreck, there is evidence to suggest a bird strike, and i have seen the photos.
an albatross, more likely a pelican or two.
as said above 'eyewitless' reports.
there have been no observations of the aircraft in flight, only the last bit entering the water.
