I see an ad on AFAP for single and twin survey pilots.

Who are these guys? Ive never heard of them before. The 'Above award wages' comment sounds a little odd. Since when has anyone flying survey been paid anywhere near award wages??

PM me if you want me details in regards to the survey industry in general. Only got limited info on the mob advertised.

Are they the ones who were recently in Canada and purchased a Single engine turbine PAC or something?

Na you're thinking of Kiwi-Air who contract to UTS, they have 3 or 4 PAC750s I think but no Twins

Is Atlas a Survey outfit? I only know what the pay at Fugro, UTS and GPX are like and they are all close to 3 times what the award is, which makes me wonder why this outfit advertising would even mention the award. Industry standard is usually 250-300/day I thought

Yeah the PAC750 had UTS logo on it but had a NZ rego! Made me look at it twice though, cos its Winnipeg, Canada and your not expecting to see the uni you went to up in this neck of the woods.

The FBO said that the plane was just sold to some Aussies. Was trying to hunt them down for a beer but plane was gone when i came to work.

What sought of aircraft do they operate?

Survey operators are flat out, Fugro boys are very busy.
