My two cents worth:
I did flight training over the years at three SA establishments.

My experience of Cape Flying Services at George - good outfit, good training, bit pricier than most but worth it in my book. Gerald runs a good outfit, plus the flying is beautiful down there.

Experience of Pretoria Flying School at Wonderboom - not so good, I can't recommend them, while the instructors are good the management doesn't seem to care about clients. I wouldn't spend any more money with them.

Wonderboom Flying School - very, very good, but closed down now unfortunately.

I have to say that in all the training I did I was lucky in as much as I never had a bad instructor (I've heard they exist, but have yet to meet one).

Many thanks to Matt, Richard, Gawie, Danie, Denise, Debbie and David.
