Wales are playing France tomorrow for the Grand Slam. Rumour has it that there is going to be flypast before kickoff.

I was just wondering if it was going to be F3s from the north in which case I will have time to get a couple of pints in after the National Anthems.

Or will it be a couple of Grobs from our own Welsh Air Defence world at St Athan. I will definitely have time with them, and have drunk the first pint before they fly over the half way line.

Wonder if Brian Moore knows the difference between a F3 and a Grob. Mind you, I am sure that Eddie Butler will educate him.....

They might shut the roof to keep out the "Silly spectacle".:ok:

They were so good. They used to fly approx 20 feet above our married quarter at RAF St Athan, practicing for the Battle of Britain Air shows back in the early seventies.

Now they would be a fitting tribute prior to a great game of rugby.

The roof is going to be closed!

Perhaps someone will daub "P*** off Biggles" on the roof:D. That would keep Mr Moore happy.
The blimp could zoom in, but only after the watershed.

Ah, the memories!
