Travelling to Pellston. Mi. (Grand Hotel).

Hi, I am travelling to the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island later this year. I would be grateful for any information or experiences about this hotel, and in particular which airlines serve Pellston Mi. As far as I can see on the net. the only way to get to Mackinac Island is to fly to Pellston with Northwest Regional.

Perhaps those of you in the States have better flight planning pages than we do in the UK. I can only find web searchers that direct me to Northwest services via Detroit. I believe Minneapolis also serves Pellston, but can't find any reference to it on the web.

Mesaba Airlines? I think they do alot from DTW to points in MI.
I have been to the island a few times (not by air however). I think youll be wise to go in the off season. I wouldnt recommend it before Labor day. I have no experience with the hotel. Its quite exclusive though. If you have any specifics, maybe I can help.
