I would like to meet more females when flying, preferably of the eye candy variety. Does anyone know if they exist?

It just strikes me that when I go to the airfield I only seem to meet anoraks who are interested in smelly oily aircraft and the discussing the merits of the IMC as a mini IR.

I seem to be unable to find a supply of pretty young blondes to share my flying experiences. Are there any redhot aviation chicks out there?

Personally I've come across a few. Not whilst flying though

I've seen one or two who got as far as a PPL but they were very young and were really after a well paid airline pilot with a nice car.

It's a shame - the whole scene would be totally transformed (in terms of how much disposable income is spent) if there were more interesting women about. Men with money and time tend to be very strategic where they hang around - and it certainly isn't at airports.

There are more in the helicopter world. But the heli world is also more posey, which always helps.

In context of your post bose-x (and we all know the purpose) is one to presume that you are yourself a red hot aviation chick who feels isolated in their flying and is therefore looking for like minded red hot aviation chicks to share your flying experiences with

I can perfectly understand, if that is the case, how you would feel in what is a hetro male dominated pursuit that appears (based on recent posts in the gay thread) to be the last bastion of chauvinism, schoolboy humour and bigotry.

To be fair I do consider myself to be a lesbian.

S-Works

I don't feel isolated I am sure there are plenty that will share my views on a pot of KY and rubber snake.

So if I come out of the closet and admit to being straight will I get the love and support of my fellow aviators?

Bristol-born Michelle Goodman, 31, was honoured after saving a life under heavy fire in Iraq last June.

Flight Lieutenant Goodman, of the Royal Air Force, flew her Merlin helicopter into the centre of Basra at night to rescue a casualty.

Without her bravery, the wounded man would have died within 15 minutes.

Under heavy fire and mortar rounds, she managed to land next to the wounded man and got him out.

"Despite extreme pressure, whilst in the face of the enemy, she made the right decision," the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement.

The Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) is one of the highest level military decorations, after the Victoria Cross and Conspicuous Gallantry Cross.

Quite so. Never dally over serious business like lunch; and best to leave a decent spell to aid digestion..so, tell the first one to pop round at about 1430, and the second one to arrive at about 1600, and to bring her friend.

FFS guys, what on earth makes you think I'm being PC - get a grip.

OK, I'll explain the joke but I suspect it's gonna get lost.

In the picture with Michelle Goodman, in the background, is a helicopter. Now, it may have escaped the notice of some of you, but I have rather a helicopter fixation (whether that is healthy or not, I cannot say!). Therefore, the joke is, all I can see in the photo is part of a rotary aircraft. :ugh:

There is a spoof "optical illusion" email that has been doing the rounds recently which shows a scantily clad damsel on a beach with a yacht in the background. The "apparent" joke and hence "optical illusion" is that men cannot see the boat!!!

Now, what does it say about those who took my comment so seriously. This is a banter thread - lighten up!

I don't think for one second Whirls was intending to be disrespectful to Michelle Goodman, it was just a gag so calm down. However I take my hat off to Michelle Goodman and all of her colleagues in the armed forces, especially the ones fighting wars we should even be in.

when it come to any talk of 'differences in pilots---that is my standard answer

one male capt and one female co-pilot were on aprch to Colorado springs and hit shear--a Spiral Dive into the Ground--DEAD!

a seven year old girl trying to be the youngest cross country pilot in the world--with her experienced father entered IMC--- a Spiral Dive into the Ground--DEAD!

A 20,000 hr male pilot with a 7000 hr FO and FE entered a rotor cloud near Africa ---a Spiral Dive into the Ground--DEAD!

A female commuter pilot engine failure auto feather fails---- Spiral Dive into the Ground--DEAD!

when does aviation care about YOU? your age/ sexuality/ sex, experience /talents shortcomings/ passion/experience/ looks etc....

this is a pointless topic as are similar ones related to it
