Need I/R and certificate of re validation renewal, mid year. The bast is a recurrent of course.

Questions.

Is it possible to get a licensed Check pilot to carry out a check in a non JAA registered aircraft?

Would I be able to get, a non JAA licensed check pilot, a one off dispensation to carry out a check?

Does the UK CAA have a list of approved JAA check pilots?

Any input would be appreciated.

Regards

For renewal of I/R you need a JAA examiner or instructor, if you want to renewal your TR on a aircraft that has no TRI/TRE in europe than talk with CAA, you may get an exemption.

Generally for a Single Pilot Aeroplane (SPA) you will need a Class Rating Examiner with IR examiner privileges and for a MPA renewal/revalidation it will be a TRE.

The CAA should be able to tell you who and where the respective examiners are.

Hope this helps
