Hi there

You may get a better response in the cabin crew forum but hopefully this will be a start for answering some of your questions.

Pay is average (not sure exactly how much) I guess but you can add to that with the duty pay when you are away on trips. Duty pay is £2 per hour when at work and away from base but that is not taxed so it can mount up over the month. Uniform is provided at no cost. MAN is a small(ish) base with a friendly atmosphere. All the crew know each other very well and flight deck and cabin crew generally get on well. Work is hard work and tiring at times but the people you work with help to counter act that to some extent. As for rosters... well that is a whole topic in itself. There is very little flying to be done out of MAN at the moment so you often do a fair number of trips. Depends on what the company is doing since it is a ad-hoc/wet lease airline so the working pattern can be fluid!

If you want to get back home every night then this won't be your cup of tea! However it will be a permanent position that they will offer and these are few and far between in MAN nowadays. Perhaps a good stepping stone if you ever want to go onto long haul or something similar. It will certainly give you good experience!

Hope this helps. ;)
