Hi everyone!

I´m the holder of an JAA CPL-H.
I heard of the possibility to obtain an JAA IFR Rating on single engine helicopters in Great Britain - is that true?

In Germany, as far as I know, it is only on twin engine helicopters possible.

If my information is correct, how much would it cost to do IFR training in GB. And which schools offer that training.

Thank you verry much in advance,

There is only one school that offers the single-engine IFR and that is Bristows in Norwich. They use a Jet Ranger which has grandfather rights. As far as I know, Bristows has a waiting list of nearly a year and the saving won't be that great! Budget on around £30k.

Cheers

I'm not sure but I don't think so; you'd be better off asking these questions in Rotorheads!
