Howdy,
Just wondering if the Americans out there (or anyone else for that matter) know of any dedicated bulliten boards aimed at the aviation industry in the States?

Like a PPRuNe for American pilots?

Cheers, Turbofan

GreasedItOn!,
Wow, that site is really coming along beautifully since I last saw it! I agree--it's a "must" bookmark.

Wino,
Bravo! I thought I'd seen 'em all.

Turbofan,
This is actually a Dutch based board, but the guy who runs it has done a terrific job with his primary site and his B.B. plus they have an American Airlines specific forum for you too! :)

Thanks a lot fellas, appreciate it.

I'm actually looking for these boards to see if there's any info on them about foreign pilots flying in the States. I'm currently in Australia, but feel no great desire to stay here if there's possibly work elsewhere... just looking to broaden my horizons.

Cheers.

People

Looking for any Guam based Continental crews that surf Guam on a regular basis.
Okay, maybe not nailing this to the right thread but what the hell.
Anyone surf Guam lately?

Hung Like A Horse,

Hi, how have you been sugar? You may have already seen this one--but on the off chance that you didn't--it might be worth looking into.... Continental Airlines - "Unofficial" Forum (http://www.flyforums.com/calboard/index.php?s=f0cc975d425f821b2bc172e02bd9a145)

:) Good luck tiger; I hope you're doing well! BTW: the answer to your question is KDEN; why hon, what's up?

As a matter of fact, Tower Dog, I am still single. Now, ordinarily that might make me a little blue but I had a bit of a close call in the "lifetime commitment" area recently and, well... Let's just say I'm glad to still be single. :)

How's life treating you sugar? You staying outta trouble? http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/tongue.gif

Nope, usually deep in trouble.
Nearly got divorced over x-mas as I wanted to quit the job and go sailing full time.

It went over like a lead-baloon with wifey and finally I had to go back to work. Now flying the line again. OK I guess.

(Do ya know any 25 year old twin sisters that would like to go sailing with a sexy 44 year old Norwegian stallion?
They should be good at cooking and cleaning boats as well as rather nymphomanic and open-minded... :))

Towerdog, UA may have just the thing for you. I think they let them off in ANC last week. :)

Ooops, ya are right, I was asking for the wrong thing.
Being stuck on my boat with them bitches would be a fate worse than death. Then some.

Perhaps I should stick with the 'ol lady?
As they say: Its cheaper to keep her... :)

(Not to give up that easy :)
Any Oriental girls out there with an old fashioned attitute towards men, that would like to go sailing?

Don't be shy, sign up today, money back guarantee.... :)

TowerDog,
I was going to comment on how expensive a habit a couple of 25 year old bitches can be :)...
I'd offer to join you on your boat, honey, but I've sworn off meeting people from the virtual world forever and ever, and ever. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/tongue.gif

Towerdog,

SHOULDN'T YOU BE STUDYING! :)

Flying the line my ass, you live in the school house, just like me...

Reserve on the BUS in NY so far is a great deal. Real civilized compared to where we came from. HOWEVER, I hear it used to be even better. Maybe we get that in the next contract...

Cheers

Wino:

Yup, ya are right, I should be studying the glass Boeing.
In fact I brought my books along on a 4 day
sailing trip to Key Largo.
Then realized there was actually limitations and memory items in the books: Gave up immediately and put the books away.
(I will be paying the price next week.. :))

As for next contract, hope they arrange an
increase for new-hires with a fat retroactive
check.

Mriya 225:

As for not meeting anybody from cyberspace:
I am safe and the real thing. Ya can't go wrong in this case hon.... :)

(Uh, ya good with diesels and boat maintenance in general...?)

What happened in CO?
Good story?

TowerDog,

I have no doubt that you're the genuine article... Pity I couldn't have my virtual way with you, over on the old Afterburn board, like I wanted to; but I've got all the poise of a spooked mare nowadays.

(Uh, ya good with diesels and boat maintenance in general...?)

Honey, I've got @ $5,000.00 worth of tools backed by a stubborn Irish mind, that says they haven't invented machinery I can't fix! :)

Mriya,

I gotta Land Rover out in Saudi with a gearbox that's shot to hell and back - and I can promise you sunshine out there too :)

Hi Guys,

I was supposed to be visiting #1 daughter out in USA this week but her phone's not working (didn't pay bill I guess) so this is the nearest I'm gonna get this trip http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

*cradles ExSimGuy's head to her firm bosom; in her sweetest, most reassuring voice...*

There, there, Mriya will make it all better, you'll see...

Too bad I'd rather take a bullet in the head than haul my sweet ass to the Middle East (in spite of your obvious need for a full-time mechanic)--that's no place for any self-respecting (Americanized?) lady, my dear.
Now, if you ever find yourself in... say, Prague, give me a jingle! :)
