Don't know answers to your questions. Does anyone know why BAC have been renamed 'HD Air Ltd'?

Yes the TRTO was approved in December when they had their first course and TD is still CP, they are looking for Captains at the moment not F/O's.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, any ideas what the min requirements are for FO's?

In this 'incarnation' BAC Express have not really recruited a non type rated FO so would doubt there is any hard and fast rule.

Mr HD has been the owner for 3 years, so hardly new.

Sad to see the old name go, s'pose its a fresh start, but there are still a few old campaigners out there who look at BAC with a watery eye (!!).

Interesting to see that there is about to be a new German operater basing an SD3-60 at Coventry, must be a growing market for the old shed again.

Terry Dixon is CP

For F/O's; there are a lot of CV's sent in so it's either type rated or guys who would make the move from left to right in a reasonable space of time.

I believe the website is still the old BAC Express one, but the emails still work, all CV's are looked at and placed on file.

To answer a couple of the other questions:

You are correct the 2morrow group did acquire BAC Express about three years ago, but the company has been a process of restructuring over the last 12 months, apart from the aircraft there is very little of BAC Express left.

The Airline was renamed to bring it in line with its sister company HD Ferries
