I am moving to oakland in January. Any pilots from over there? and any good places to hang out? I have been looking up a few different jazz clubs on the net. Also will be looking to join a jazz band if i have time. Is there a good jazz scene in sunny SF or what?

Hey JJ! Yeah I am going to Sierra Academy. Do you fly there? I am starting in February assuming I get the forms back from the school and can get my Visa in time.

Well ,I did my training at Sierra and I still have a place ( last 3 years ) in the Bay area... Email me when you get there or if you have any questions I'll try to help you out.
I know most of the people working at Sierra and the Pros and Cons of the place.
