Quality Firms From Across the Aviation Industry Lining Up to Seek Employees At A.E.P.S. Career Fair in Chicago Nov. 13, 14

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1999--Leading companies from across the landscape of the aviation industry will participate in the Aviation Employee Placement Service (A.E.P.S.) aviation career AirFair, a two-day gathering of prospective employees and actively recruiting employers to be held November 13 and 14 in Chicago.

James Dent, A.E.P.S. President, said the event, first of a series of such AirFairs scheduled in most major U.S. cities before the end of the year 2000, is expected to feature recruitment personnel from more than two dozen companies from across the spectrum of aviation industry employment.

"We will have representatives from aircraft manufacturers, ground servicing companies, major and regional passenger and cargo airlines, and more,'' Dent said, "all of them seeking to employ qualified personnel for positions in virtually all aspects of the industry.''

"We are extremely pleased with the lineup of top quality companies that will be represented at this, our first AirFair, and more are signing up daily,'' he added.
"We have no doubts that the event will draw thousands of potential industry employees to visit with them during the two days of the event, and, hopefully, to be hired as a result.

Companies committed to being represented include Aerotran Airpower, Airline Career Training, Apple Vacations, Cessna, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, FlightSafety International, Hudson General LLC, Signature Flight Service, TIMCO, Universal Pilot Application Service, New York Citation Service Center, as well as airlines including Allegheny Airlines/US Airways Express, Chicago Express Airlines, Midwest Express, SkyWest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Trans States Airlines, United Parcel Service and United Airlines.

The Chicago AirFair will be held from 10 am to 4 pm each on Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14, at the Odeum Sports and Exposition Center in Villa Park, IL, approximately five miles from O'Hare International Airport. The second AirFair will be in Atlanta, at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, near Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport, on December 18 and 19.
