Can anyone tell me how/what needs to be done to get/be a Continuos Airworthiness Maintenance Program? I work for a small but growing L-39 specialist company and we would like to start doing some of our own certifications. Even though our aircraft are all experimental, we need the CAMP for some things like IFR certs, etc. We will eventually want to be a certified repair station but we have never had a need for that so it will obviously take some time. A CAMP would be a step in that direction.

Would they not be classed as Annex 2 aircraft then?

Go to
www.caa.co.uk
and Type 'CAMO' in the search field.

You will find some info for EASA CAMO's (CAM-Organisations) but will include what is required for the AMP - it may be different from FAA in some areas but will follow many of the basic requirements and may help you with how to get there.

Best of luck
