HI There
Can anyone inform me of the following ?

If i do the ATPL ground school with an UK FTO (distance learning),after doing the brush up course, may i do the exams in other JAA country ?

Many thanks

I shouldn't think so!! Why would you want to?

Brush-up course are held the week before the exams; it would be easier to remain in the UK surely?

You also need to check but I suspect you have to do you CPL skills test in the same country in which you sit your exams!

Cheers

No, I don't think this is possible. Normally the FTO where you did the training is a guarantor that you have followed the correct training and they effectively enter you for the exams. I suspect your UK FTO will not be able to enter you for exams outside the UK. Why not check with them?

the mean problem that UK CAA wants too much money for the exams! Almost 1000 Euro for 14 exams, it is a robbery!

There are some new JAA-countries where ATPL theory exam for free at their CAA, no fee at all ;)
