After many years in aviation it takes a lot to surprise me. So to come across a Yugoslavian member of the Italian Communist Party who pitched up in Russia and designed some a/c worthy of Gerry Anderson (and died in 1974) has rocked me back on my heels.

How come he's so unknown?
