Does any one know how much paternity leave a male pilot is entitle to under Luxembourg legislation, or does any body have a link to the Luxembourg labour law, preferable in english.

Thanks! Andersand.

If you want information about parental leave (congé parental), here's the link (french only) from the administration that pays you the money during this period. It's either 6 month full time at home, or 12 month part time 50% off.

The respective monthly "salary" paid by this administration is 1710€ net for full time or 855€ net for part time.
Please note that by law your company must give you the 6 month full time off if you request it. Not so for the 12 month part time "congé parental", where approval from your company is needed. So if they say no, it's no.
http://www.cnpf.lu/ then go "liste des prestations" then "indemnités de congé parental"
Please also note that there are restrictions (child age...)

For the child birth itself, you are entitled to 2 days off only, :ooh: while your misses is entitled to 8 weeks before and 8 or 12 weeks off after the birth.
