The hangar at Farnborough used to house the first jet aircraft is being demolished.
'H' Shed, a T1 hangar on the south of the airfield, was used from Nov 1942 to house the Gloster E28/39 aircraft. I remember seeing a photo of 616 Sqdn's first Meteor delivered to Farnborough for the squadron's formation and I believe this was parked at 'H' Shed too.
