Heard on 122.2 this afternoon, that QF187 had to dirvert to DN for fuel - enroute to HK, wondering if this happens often? and is it due WX?

On the topic of QF 187 I had the misfortune of having to travel on this flight last week.
How Qantas can operate a clapped-out dogbox of a 767 on this route is beyond me......767 is a fantastic aeroplane but this particular one would be better suited to the domestic market.
The business class lacked any entertainment on demand and the seats were what I would expect on a grayhound bus.........
I was under the impression that the A330's were to replace the 767's on international runs.......

Sorry, those A330's have been given to Jetstar.:D

QF mainline service is rapidly becoming old hat and the whole operation will be phased out over the next 5 years being replaced by nice shiny new aircraft, crewed by South Africans.
(No offence to the jaarpies, but this Australia.)

Thanks mate.
