Pax/luggage Signature

Guys and Gals,
A question if I may for some research.
Do the Flight crew sign for the total number of pax and luggage loaded, and if so, who's responsibility is it to get the signature?

Brief answer is yes, the Captain signs a document known as "loadsheet" and a signed copy is left with one of the ground staff (Despatcher, Turn Round Manager, or similar).
Some outfits complicate this a bit by allowing the Captain to sign a "provisional loadsheet", which has the last best guess at final weights/passenger numbers, the Flight Crew then must get the final, exact figures passed to them before takeoff by either Radio or datalink.
