If you want your 135 to be really VIP, there can be only one option:

Colours - keep in mind that the PW's are a bit dirty with exhaust soot. Light colour will look pretty silly in a hurry.

Monaco - le Rasscasse (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Untitled/Untitled/1134781)

Nimbus Grey Pearl Effect. (Nimbusgrau Pearleffekt) Audii TT colour from about 2000~2001. Du Pont Imron 6000 Clear over base. Or Standox is just as good.

Interior - up to you. I don't sit in the back so..............

PP-MEG has a simple, stylish scheme and a very nice light cream leather interior.

Other colors that seem to go well with the type include light metallic blue (e.g. G-WHIN, OK-BYE), metallic gray, and silver (P4-XTC).

Thanks for the help guys.........Nige 321 has been a great help and come up with some fantastic ideas. The colours we are thinking would be a nice dark silver blending into a dark gunmetal grey like the 'Nimbus Grey Pearl Metallic'.---Any thoughts on this?? :ugh:

Interior, in reply to eddie1 is to be done in ' black ultrasuede' on the roof and door linings and 'bentleigh leather' seats. (At this stage anyway)-Also small rego is a must.

Thanks again for the ideas and would still appreciate photos from HAI if anyone goes.

Also small rego is a must

Aren't you the lucky one: CASA issued a General Exemption on the 5th Feb 2008, allowing side rego letters to be a minimum of 150mm, instead of 300mm, on helicopters and FW<5700kg, valid until the end of January 2010 :ok:

Hope you ordered a good A/C unit. The EC one is renowned to be C.R.A.P. and heavy. The Metro unit is about half the weight and twice the output with no restriction in use while taking off or landing. The EC Unit is electric made by Keith and the Metro mechanical off the MGB.

Thats what the two big holes are under the Port exhaust ejector. The A/C unit is very simple with no electronics OFF/ON/RESET Fan Speed HIGH/LOW.

Evaporator in the front and one in the back. Works OK up to 43C so far.

If you ordered MEGHAS the screens generate a lot of heat as does the VEMD and CAD. Forced air ventilation is dismal on this aircraft and with any sliding windows open its pretty noisy.

Who/what is "fish"?

How much does the metro A/C unit weigh?

Modified this T1 about 10 years ago (S/No. 115). It had an extended instrument panel, TCAS and UNS FMS installed. It had a relatively large credenza (removable) in the rear cabin to make it four seat. Interior was a bit heavy (with the credenza) and the pax found it a little bit of a job getting into the back compared to a A109 / AS-355...

Fellow Ppruners......my first post  ;)

I realise that Queenslanders are reputed to be a bit slower, but 5+ years of lurking must be nearly a record :p

Glad to see your contributions, and look forward to hearing more about your new acquisition :ok:

You may want to consider engaging Scheme Designers to assist in developing design ides. See www.schemedesigners.com (http://www.schemedesigners.com). I have worked with Craig Barnett on my last two acft and was quite pleased with the results. Total cost was about $800 U.S. per acft.

duke996,

Any progress? Did you choose a colour scheme? Has Eurocopter delivered, or up to their usual delays :hmm:

I'd suggest going to (airliners.net), in th ehelicopter section choose eurocopter then the ec135 and you will see hundreds of examples of colour schemes. It may trigger ideas or preferences or at least give you an idea which way you may want to go.

Looks like another superb paint job by Bill and his boys at Pac Crown there Luke, nice one.

For anyone who has not seen the attention to detail the surface finishers and engineers have at PCH, I tell you, it is art. :ok:
