What is the many ways that a flight dispatcher in their duties can assist in saving a company money?

Any information would be of great help.

Why not? there seems to be so many folks out there who are still confused,
does get my goat when some one says "I'm a dispatcher" when in fact they are traffic/ramp/turnround supervisors.

Back to my met, notam & CFP play time!

Haha, Merlinxxxxxxxx, I do totally agree with you!!

But lets give the post a chance and see what kind of dispatcher they are reffering too!

PS Merlinxx, whats ur experience like with Pegasus 2MB databases?

Play nice people!!!!!!
Im just asking!
Air dispatcher is the answer.
I somehow doubt that if I explain the reason for this post on COST SAVING that I will get much more support since the above posts(all except the last one)seem to NOT want to help.

Information would be great.

Thanks

We are more than willing to help - but before we start firing off we just need to know what type of 'dispatching' you are reffering to.

Now we know - so now we can start firing off!

Lets start with two easy ones:

1) Have you come up with a good tankering plan?
2) Do you apply re-clear where possible?
