Spouse - 2nd Interview

For the 2nd interview - DESO, can anyone tell me the latest thoughts on having the spouse attend with you?

It doesn't look like my spouse will be able to attend for a few reasons.

How much do you think this reflects on your chances (if any) and can anyone who has previously been through the 2nd stage give me an idea of how many spouses were there out of the total interview group?

Do you think it'd help if my spouse has been to China previously (and wants to go back!)? Maybe this would help offset the fact that they probably can't attend the 2nd interview with me.

I would just play up the fact that they really wanted to come but couldn't get out of work or whatever. You'll have time at the cocktail party and the interview to talk about it. Just figure a way to work it in to the conversation.
