Does anyone know what happened to flying fighters in Archerfield? I remember something about the owner of the collection being in a bit of trouble for tax evasion (I think) a while ago but didn't really follow the story.

Has FF closed down now? and If so what has happend with their aircraft, In particular the Sea Fury?

Not 100% sure but I think the fellow you are talking about may have a lot of difficulty flying anywhere from his current accomodation, but I may be wrong.

Someone will know more details I hope. Sea Fury.....thats a weapon!:ok:

If you search google for "Steven Hart accountant" or "Steven Hart flying fighters" you should find all you need to know.

OK, I found this breakdown of the case, Which is fairly informative.

I still can't find what happened to the aircraft. I thought someone here might have some knowledge as to their fate.

My third-hand info is that there are still some legal issues with the aircraft. The former real estate holdings were auctioned last year.

Is that the group operating the Yaks? I'll give them a call.
If the fury goes for auction there will probably be people climbing over each other for a chance to bid... I think there is another good example in Camden...
