I note that according to today's newspapers, Nick Burton-Taylor, current Chairman of Airservices' Board, and Chairman of the Australian Agricultural Company Limited [AAco], will be assuming the role of CEO of said company [AAco] whilst they look for a suitable replacement for the recently departed CEO.

Given this increased 'day-to-day' responsibility, even if only for several months, could it be possible that he won't have time to devote himself wholeheartedly to the Airservices' Board.

Might this present an opportunity for him to step down from a role that is increasingly becoming a poison chalice?

Might 'the Minister' consider this an ideal opportunity to re-vamp the Board?

Watch this space.....

Nick Burton-Taylor's Chairman position at AsA is up for renewal this month, but his tenure has apparently been extended for a few months to enable the new Minister to settle into his portfolio.

Seeing that N B-t is a staunch National Party supporter, it doesn't take a rocket-scientist to figure out what a Left-wing Labor Aviation Minister might do to him.
