Dont you just love them, The cockpit and more importantily the stopovers will never be the same as we supposeidly progress to "weaker" 2-crew freight trucks.

My favourite story is of a F/E before he joined my company of being in a bar somewhere in the states, where a guy was singing wearing a stetson on the stage, and our f/e friend went up and said thats not a real stetson, its got no hole in it and proceeded to stuff his fat burning cigar into it!!! All hell broke loose.

Yo Barry....Go on ya good thing!

Any other good tales??

Dear Happy Cappy, its nice to know that all Fe's maintain the highest standards of dercorum and sensibilities even when dealing with some of our colonial brethren. All praise to the master race may they always look over their shoulder and find a reliable expert to assist in their problems.

Ps If anybody knows any FE jobs going please leave a reply on this thread. :) :) :) :)

I transitioned DC-10 to MD-11 last March. Quickly realized why there's a mirror on the -11's cockpit door - when you look back to ask a question you see your own face!

Those of you that have 'em - you don't know what you've got till they're gone....

Good morning gentlemen !

Why the French mil transport pilots do call the F/E "Jesus Christ" ?

Because he is used to fly between the ox and the donkey :) <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
