Hi LGL737, welcome back. Yes, we're flying the cars/equipment out of MXP as I write this. First flight yesterday, second one should leave MXP to IND any time now.

CR2,
just curious how doing that from ops side of view - you either have free slot in schedule, allowing to make 16-19 hrs roundtrip, or you cancelling some scheduled europe-north america sector.... or?
always thought that CV operating very tight schedule on it's own fleet.

I am curious - are the cars on pallets or crated, or are they rolled in?

C1,
There is a lot of prestige involved with F1, so we make an effort; they won't deal with just anyone who happens to have a spare freighter around. We took delivery of our 11th 400 a few weeks ago, which has eased things a little schedule-wise. Two aircraft back from C & D checks which are also back on the programme. As you mentioned, AFX also do flights for us. So, yes we can squeeze the odd charter in.
