747 brought in cattle to Rahim Yar Khan direct, but why the QF handlers?

It is quite common to have livestock handlers on board cargo flights.
In addition, I expect Qantas folks know just a bit more about cattle than some MAS folks do.
Contractural stipulation, I expect.
As 411A just mentioned. I've flown someone else's 747F as L/M because they didn't have one. Ahem. :ouch:

Why on earth would QF have more experience than MH when it comes to flying livestock ? MH are a fully-fledged cargo operator and would have no problem carrying out a perfectly normal animal charter. I think you will find it has something to do with who the customer is
MH Cargo is basically Air Atlanta, or? Correct me if I'm wrong!!!

I flew for AAI and was based in KL for about five years, and when I left last year AAI had four 747 Classic freighters flying for MAS, and MAS had two 747-400's .... I think.
