If you've got a B2 with Module 9 do you need this new HF training that lots of agencies seem to be pushing ?

HF staff training compliance is mandated in 145.A.30(e) for 145 maintenance organisations.

Have a look at this - http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/109/CAP716%20(Issue%202).pdf

The HF cert is required over and above the module you did in basic Lic'

Apart from a piece of paper with the applicable words on what else do you get for your money that you havn't been informed before?
HF can be taught by some very enthusiastic very knowlegable people or by some total lossers and at the end?:ugh:

Some Part 145 Maintenance organistations tailor their own HF courses for their company, but the basics are all the same, it all comes down to "common sense and knowing your limits", however there can be some local differences in the working enviornment that these companies incorporate into their HF training eg. irregular working patterns!
But as far as the courses run for contractors, it's all the same and most companies except them, just another piece of paper required that'll cost money!!!!!!
