Sorry if this has been done before. I did have a root about but couldnt find an answer.
What is the CAA stance now on current class 1 holders having lasor treatment?

Look at CAA web site on medical section.
Anyway, after the surgery, you need to stay quiete 1 year without fly, after, if your miopy was less than -5 no problem: you will have again 1 class.

Thanks for the reply. I looked there and found a document dates Dec06. Basically that gave a 6 months waiting time for short sighted correction, 12 for long sighted. (Considering some limits)
I thought I had heard somewhere that they recently have had a review on that stance and reduced the time.
