Does anybody have the figures for the cost of a 5-day recurrent course with CAE in Dubai or Flightsafety in Farnborough for the GLF4?

Presumably CAE or FSI will have the most accurate info, subject to which kind of package was purchased with the initial type rating.
Problem is that I will have to self sponsor this because im a Freelancer. The initial course was sponsored by a company.

Depends if you want to save yourself some money and not to be bogged down with B/S.
If you do, then go to the USA. You will still save yourself money even after the airfare has been paid.

Regardless of who paid for the initial, I'd still go directly to the two companies and ask. And I'd still find out what type of initial type rating was purchased - some include recurrent training for free.

That's about right. $22 - 27,000 for a Global recurrent.
