Arrived 40 minutes early last night, put on stand 13R at LGW (No Jetty) +2oC , One set of steps brought out to front of aircraft.
After five minutes of adjustment noises outside the door, no knock for ok, then steps removed again (Advised later they could not get them high enough).
Steps then removed and repositioned to rear of aircraft? (Whats the difference in door height front and aft of a B737 - I'm puzzled)
So after about 5 mins waiting - a long time with 183 passengers waiting to get off, disembarkation starts from rear.
Then another set of steps arrives for front of aircraft (Hurrah!) - this then interferes with disembarkation from rear (not happy!).
Steps positioned to front, then no less than six attempts to get steps positioned correctly to door without a gap, by which time only about 12 customers to disembark.
Any other cabin crew having problems with Servisair at night, or any other time?
