Gents

I was just wondering if anyone knows of some good theory articles on flying turboprops?

Is there any websites or books that you can recommend?

Thanks for your help with this.:ok:

I'd recommend The Turbine Pilot's Flight Manual. It can be found at most aviation supply shops.

I'd best describe this book as a BAK of turbine aircraft. Ie It is generic enough to give you a good insight on how turboprop/jet aircraft systems operate yet you still will need to study your own aircraft manuals of course.

I've had it for some years and for my first turboprop endorsement it was well worth the money.

I'll second what turbantime said... that book is excellent. Apart from jet/turboprop info it also has some good stuff in it on pressurisation/CSU prop/retract gear and that sort of advanced system theory.

This is the book HERE (http://www.pilotshop.com.au/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=172) although it may be cheaper elsewhere:ok:

Jeppesen's 'Aircraft Gas Turbine Powerplants' is also very good value.

Author is Gregory N.Brown and Mark J.Holt

It's written by two gentlemen so maybe that is what you found?
