You reckon the "spectators" might just be a bit further up the Darwin Tree than the "participants"?

I can't believe that EASA permits something as dangerous as that!

I mean, surely everyone knows how dangerous a single engine helicopter is!

all about "survival of the fittest" chaps.

Luckily these idiots will end up in the piston blender and we can all move on safe in the knowledge that the world will never again produce 1 brain cell human beings...Were these stunts not to happen the world will be a weaker place...

as for the pilot? Well I have heard of heli flying being a circus but this is taking the.....:hmm:

I might want to start with the tail rotor, rather than finish with it...

I am just as stunned that they got permission for that stunt in Germany after all. Never mind.Eh.

I'd be more worried about an engine failure on take-off of the Bike

It wasn't performed with audience present (too dangerous they claim in the video) and I guess all participant signed a lot of paperwork (insurance waivers e.g.)

At the end of the day was anyone hurt ? No more dangerous than teaching somone to hover. Is it any more dangerous than longlining in a single ?
It is nice to see something different than just the normal heli things. having raced mx bikes they are infinitly more reliable than any piston heli we take to the air in. Basically because they have an engine designed and built in the 21st century not half way through the 20 th century. Who would you put more faith in Mr Honda / Mr Susuki / Mr Yamaha or Mr Lycoming ?

I'd like to see a monster truck crush a robbie! Now that WOULD be fun.

Anyone with a run out robbie?

Sounds like a job for jeremy clarkson. Don't think it would take a monster truck tho, maybe one of those pedal trucks my 4 year old nephew races around in. I could have a word if you like. Nice riding from Mr Pastrami or was it Pepperoni? I bet he earns more than than the combined salaries of this forum.
