G'day,

I don't post all that often but I read here a lot.

Agree sometimes, don't agree sometimes, but always enjoy my visits.

Just wanted to wish ppruners a Happy and Safe Christmas with lots of good cheer and the best of everything for the New Year!

Let's hope we all get what we want from Santa and go on to bigger and better things in the New Year.

Cheers:ok:

Yeah, as I listen to the thundery overhead and the rain sounding like a cow doing the proverbial on a flat rock, I think it has been a strange year but I do wish all PPRUNers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when the T & Cs for all pilots will be better.:ok:

I echo all the above, may your beer be cold and frothy, may the wine be chilled just right, may the hangover not be too severe and that the kids toys came with batteries!

Dear Lady,s @ Gents
Heres a little Xmas story for u all to enjoy the true meaning of Xmas spirit.?
There once was a very talented and quiet Elf who oneday went on a little trip.He had heard Santa was employing.Yes he wanted Elf,s to fly the BIG sleigh.Infact his busted wallet, full of ginger bread, driving his rusty xf panelvan nearly had him clock more frequent flyer miles than Richard Branson. However this little Elf was keen and decided (in his wisdom to drag along Mrs Elf) as Mr Elf knew she,d love a 5850 kilometer drive to paradise (with 2 cats!!) where all the clouds are fluffy white and see through so Mr Elf no longer had to fork out his hard earned ginger bread biscuits to finance a dirty IFR habit..Yes Mr Elf thought (banking his life saving,s on one of santa,s mystic and wonderfull dreams, infact at the time was a very smart elfy sort of cool thing to do.You see Mr Elf still had huge repayments on the mushroom house, and was still paying off Grandma elf as she,d mortgaged her mushroom house to forfill Mr Elf,s dream.
Since Mr Elf wasn,t in the least bit cynical he took up Santa,s offer and at first toiled away on that beautifull sliegh.Infact Mr Elf loved the work so much Santa has still not paid holiday pay, or any supperanuation for nearly 12 months.
That silly forgetfull Santa.!!! I,m sure he,s busy? (suggested Mr Elf).
Mrs Elf wasn,t quite of the same mind and tossed the hard working Mr Elf into the cold harsh reality of Elfville street crime. So Mr Elf then had to borrow more from Santa to rent his own paradise mushroom house. But Mr Elf,s resilience and determination was so strong that he indentured his life to Santa,as he knew the rewards and pay off for loyality and hard work would be repaid 1000Xs over, and now no longer talks to Mrs Elf (that homicidal physco).
Infact Mr Elf Still bears the substantial scars of a productive and frank discussion with Mrs Elf to this day.(Didn,t even have to ask Peter Garrett for advice either).
But Xmas was upon Mr Elf as he toiled away on the big sliegh.
However Santa had different plans, as he too had a homocidal maniac to deal with and was really making all the Elf,s lives very miserable.
Bad Santa !!! It,s Xmas.
But Mr Elf thought he,d be smart and approach a very intoxicated Santa who had been picking and smoking the funny tomatoes out the back of the workshop 3 days before Xmas, about his mysterious lost super and a few other concerns about the big sliegh.
Boy was Mr Elf wrong.!!!
Santa had no sense humour or Xmas spirit and imediately took Mr Elf (as not to make Santa look stupid) out the back by the big snowman and directed a solid blow into Mr Elf,s lovely long short shorts.
With 3 days to Xmas and repayments on the mushroom.
Mr Elf is and well and truely screwed. No more free flowing gingerbread muffins.
Now he has no big sleigh to fly in paradise and all the white fluffy clouds have turned to 40,000 ft CB cells.!!!
Now the moral of this story fellow Elf,s.?
I guess we just have to chose the REAL SANTA.
Take Care M:ok:
Thanks Ravan :D

It will almost be a white Christmas for you Ang in the Hilton in Zurich early in the new year!

Enjoy your course and remember it is far easier to get through the exams if you put the supplied tabs into the manual - it makes finding the required sections when studying much much easier....

I always found manuals good for holding the bar fridge door closed. A happy xmas to you all especially those rostered on today, its hard to be away from family and friends, but it does get you out of trying to work out how to fix an already broken toy!!! Safe flying!
