It made me wonder, what is the ultimate salary that will make us peelots sh!t happy? I know for sure it's not all about money, but wether morally correct or not, money is an object.

I'll start my bid at 18000$ for captains salaries:E, fellow co-pilots feel free to set your goal.

For $18000, you can sit in the right seat, at least!:}

Very interesting article. But as long as people work on days off, or call to get open flights or do free work and get a nice free thank you from the company I don't see things get much better. Remember It will never be a negotiated process around here. It has to be much worst than it is now to see 18000$ for a Captain... If only pilots would be money smart then they would be in the driver seat. But after 20 years + in the business, time as showed me the contrary and the industry standards are being eroded by bean counters ( trained and paid to be money smart ) that keep eroding pilots conditions while company is announcing record breaking profits while the barrel of petrol is at the highest in history...
Keep up the great work :ugh:

$18,000 for a captain. That is 6 months salary for a Canadian.
What is the rest of the world going to fly for though?
