So a BA steward is reportedly suspended (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23428631-details/BA+steward+suspended+'for+eating+left+over+muffin'+on+passen ger's+meal+tray/article.do)for theft after eating a left over muffin! The management are treating it as theft.

This raises some serious questions! Such as, if it's theft does that mean said muffin was destined for reuse on a later flight? This does not jive with others' statements who said ingested muffin was in fact destined for the bin. Hmm, so does BA then sell the trash? Thus by munching the muffin the steward deprived BA of revenue?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Of course it could a load of crap cooked up by a bored muffin hugger...or journo :E:E

Will BA be taking action against the Customs and Excise rummage squad, who come on an arriving flight at an airport on the M23 and always have a good look in the ovens first. If there is any food left, they often 'indicate that they would like it'.

I reckon the serious issue here is why ANYONE would actually want to EAT any sort of airline food in the first place!:uhoh:

Depends on the type of muffin.

In my company, if you are caught muffin in the wrong place, you will be sacked, for sure....
