Can the company select FOs from only the airbus to transfer to the 744. My reading on the COS is they have to select eligable crew in reverse seniority from the applicable seniority list (ie Hong Kong based pax FO)
The company is once again writing there own rules at the detriment of our lives, if you are an airbus FO and dont want to go to the -400, tell them you will only go if there are no 777 guys below you. I gaurentee they will tell you like they told me that operationaly they need airbus people to go, which as stated above is a direct contravention of Our COS.
This has been happening for some time now, we need to say no and and make the company adhere to our employment contract.

Numero Cruncho, maybe you can lend your thoughts on the interpritation of the COS, because we all know ST wont give a rats @## "its there trainset"..

FK,

Well said mate. Unfortunatly the intimidations from the "company" will be reflected in your P-file and you might just end up being Cat B'd for some time.. That should sort us out! :ok: Nice bunch to work for! Who cares about contract.

Lets see. Say you want to stay on the 340 to get a specific basing (say AKLD) and don't intend to come back (like many currently intend). Are you really going to give a rats. It'll be 15 yrs to command anyway. You ain't there for the money.

I'm sick of all the fear about things on your P-file, black marks and red flags from the naysayers and scaremongers. All of them are used as nothing more than fear tactics to try and stop you fighting for your contractual rights. Stand up and be a man for crying out loud.

Thnaks CMOT. Took the words out of my mouth.

I can't help but laugh at how many guys (FOs as well as Captains) I see completely terrified for their jobs. You can pick them out, as they are coming in to land, their fist tightly clenched on the yoke and sweat dripping from their brow.

You guys need to relax. It is only a job. IF you stuff it up, maybe they'll fire you. Big deal, you'll find a nother job and life will go on. Stop living in fear guys. That is no way to live. Grow some huevos. :ugh:

It's easy tell them you won't do it, I did and I'm off the course that they gave me with only a few weeks notice.
Also ask why no ex-cadets happen to have a lower number than yours??? Oh yeah Oasis pays a housing allowance.
