Alliance YPAD-YOLD bookings

I notice that all bookings for the Alliance run from Adelaide to Olympic Dam from 1/12/07 are now handled by Qantas instead of Virgin Blue.

Could this be in preparation for an introduction of VB's jungle jets to the route or am I reading too much into this?

Definately reading too much into it. OLD is a contract charter service for BHP, it is operated as an RPT service to accomodate the very few passengers who don't work for or are not subject to transport services provided for on behalf of BHP.
The change to QF is simply because QF is BHP's preferred national/international carrier and simply want those frequent flyer points to be applicable to the Olympic Dam service. That's it, no plot I'm afraid :)
