This is from a Captain with Jetstar Asia that they are now interviewing FOs(without prior PIC experience) outside of the company for a Captain position. :ugh:
This would create some exodus amongst FO's. How could this happened bypassing the FOs already on the property.:yuk:

A promotion is from within not hiring someone from outside of Jetstar Asia and bypassing senior FO within the airline.

Ok, you didn't explain it that way in your original post. If this is indeed the case, then there must be good reason for doing so. Perhaps the local FO's don't meet the minimum requirements for command upgrades?

The problem is that nobody wants to work for Jetstar.
