I've just been trying to buy a book online to send to my b-in-law, who is in Afghanistan. The seller, Brian, at www.b-linebooks.com (Mods, remove if you feel nec., but I hope to share his info as a way of thanking him for his kindness) insisted on donating the book as a thank you to the troops.
Just goes to show there are some good folks left out there. Great home page too, especially for any cat lovers :)
The book, by the way, is "Horses Don't Fly; A Memoir of WWI" by Frederick Libby - grew up as a cowboy and ended up a fighter pilot in France. Great story, great book :)
