Obviously when the 747-400 first flew back in the late 80's the flightdeck was glass cockpit but fitted with CRT's (Cathode Ray Tube) screens as opposed to LCD screens. Two questions, basically have all these aircraft been retrofitted/equipped with LCD screens now or do the older ones that are in service still have the old CRT's? Secondly, were the newer production versions of the 747-400 fitted with LCD as standard? Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

The older aircraft in my Airline have been slowly retrofitted with LCD screens as they go through heavy checks. Newer aircraft come with LCD already fitted however some of these aircraft have been getting around with CRT screens lately for some reason.
