heya joe!. .. .GOOD LUCK! I attended the Impulse 28 Jan seminar at the Hilton at melb airport...was a great learning experience...the interviewers were great and we did loads of group activities...just be yourself and involved yourself with everything! Talk to everyone and smile! Im no expert at all i have only been to 2 interviews in the last 2 months! Just dont make the mistake i did..and wear either a navy or black suit! . .. .good luck and let us know how u go!!!. .. .Nick

Nick what should joe wear if your saying he shouldn't wear navy or black suit ? Mr seatback wore a navy suit to his and is now flying for them ! I have also been wearing navy suits to mine. Navy is a classic colour....and it suits a "classic" airline like Qantas. . .. .Why do you think that it was the navy suit that was the problem ? Not having a go at you but just wanted to know your thoughts !

Joe you just need to be you. The industry is pretty good at picking up when you're faking it.. .Stay relaxed and friendly, not too confident, and be interested in what everybody has to say.. .If there are group situations make sure you include everyone, and don't be afraid to offer your own opinion.. .Be keen but not overly eager, you don't want to scare them with desperation. . .Present yourself to the best of your ability, smart and clean will do it, and don't forget a very big smile! . .Good luck and let us know how you go.
